Rose Milani, our Director, is a Mental Health Social Worker, recognized for her deep expertise and commitment to mental health. Holding a BA in Social Work, she is a Registered Mental Health Counsellor with the ACA (Australian Counselling Association). Collaborating closely with Dr. Milê Glamcevski, PhD, as her mentor and Clinical Supervisor, Rose ensures our services maintain the highest standards. Her approach is centered on making parenting a more enjoyable journey, aiming to instill calm and happiness in parents’ lives. Believing that a happy parent significantly benefits a child, Rose is dedicated to alleviating the stress and fatigue often associated with parenting.
With over a decade of experience in customer service and two years as a team leader in building management, Tom has demonstrated exceptional skills in communication, problem-solving, and community engagement. In his leadership role, he managed interactions with over 2,000 residents, including families, fostering positive relationships and addressing diverse needs. Tom has also actively participated in various community engagement events, showcasing his dedication to enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening community connections.
Anza Sheikh is a dedicated parenting coach, doctor, and social worker with a robust background in healthcare and social services. Holding an MBBS degree, a Graduate Diploma in Public Health, and a Master of Social Work, Anza has gained extensive experience in hospitals, community clinics specializing in Adult ADHD, and social services agencies. Her work includes conducting thorough assessments, providing crisis intervention, essential support services, advocating for vulnerable populations, and developing tailored intervention plans.
Anza employs a holistic approach focused on resilience-building and creating nurturing family environments. She is fervently dedicated to the positive impact of supportive parenting, striving to ease stress and improve family well-being. She believes in collaborative problem-solving, helping families overcome challenges to foster greater joy, cooperation, and meaningful connections in their daily lives.
Alex has extensive professional experience working as a counsellor across a broad range of issues. Alexandra is registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers and supports clients with a vast array of concerns and has a particular interest in mental health.
Alexandra’s dynamic and empathetic approach encourages her clients to be at ease, as she creates an environment for change to explore their present life challenges or difficulties, and to help them develop an awareness. Alexandra is insightful and outcome focused- she supports her clients with practical guidance and effective strategies to address their concerns. Alexandra is committed to helping her clients become self-aware, as she believes that understanding yourself could quite possibly be the most lasting and liberating experience of your life.
Alexandra believes that each person’s emotional response to a situation is uniquely complex and based on their own person experience and life circumstances. She incorporates several counselling techniques into her practice dependent on individual therapeutic needs. Alexandra is a mum to three girls and has a wicked sense of humor. When Alexandra is not busy with her family or work, she loves to sit somewhere quiet and read the latest book.
Chris Jewell has a Bachelor of Human Services and a Master’s level qualification in Social Work. With significant experience working with vulnerable youth, Chris has held lead practitioner roles in intake and assessment teams, as a clinical educator, and as a clinical team leader. Outside of his work life, Chris has a passion for music and has completed studies specializing in music performance, composition, and musicology. Chris also has experience working within the NDIS system. Chris’s approach is based on open and honest communication, as well as a practical understanding of the multiple struggles young people can face in their lives, both during times of crisis and on a day-to-day basis.
Our team consists of both in-house professionals and carefully selected external contractors, enabling us to deliver a high-quality service that meets the diverse needs of our clients. All external contractors have been screened and have up to date valid Working With Children Checks, Police Checks and Professional Memberships.
